Pass Plus

Pass Plus is a training scheme for new drivers that aims to improve your driving skills and make you a safer driver.

Safety Statistics for newly qualified drivers are alarming. They not only demonstrate their vulnerability but also lack of road road sense and awareness.

• Two young people under 25 die every day in crashes in the UK
• During the first year of driving, 1 in 5 new drivers is involved in a car crash.

In response to this, the DSA (in conjunction with insurance companies) has sponsored an ‘instructor led initiative’ to equip new drivers with improved skills.

How does it work?
There are six training modules that our instructors will take you through once you have passed your test. Each module lasts 1hr:

Since the scheme has the support of the insurance industry, after completion drivers will be awarded a certificate entitling them to cheaper insurance premiums. This can be reduced by as much as 30%.
